Commissions

  1. First contact

I would love to work with you to create a unique piece of art for your business or private space. I offer virtual and/or personal consultation in my studio and can also come see the space if you are nearby. Here are the steps on how we can start our collaboration:

  • Contact me via WhatsApp, email, phone or direct message on instagram

  • If you already have an idea on the artwork you can include the size or the wall dimensions to determine the ideal sizing

  • Kindly include 1-3 images of my artwork that inspired you to commission the artwork

  • Add 2-3 colours you would like to be included in the piece

  • If possible photos or videos of the space would be helpful as well.

    I will get back to you within 24 hours to schedule a video chat or a visit.

2. Offer

Within 2-3 days after our meeting, after I receive complete information and discuss with you the work, shall we decide to proceed, I will send you an offer along with a commission agreement. The agreement usually consists of following details:

  • artwork details

  • pricing and payment terms

  • timeline & delivery

  • copyright

Kindly note that 50% deposit is required upfront and all commission sales are binding and final.

3. Work in progress

As soon as the offer is signed by both of us and the deposit is through I will start with the commissioned work as per our agreed timeline. To give you an example on duration - a gilded work of 100x100cm with birds can take up to 20-40 hrs including conceptualisation, sketch and finishing touches. With a free capacity (if I have no other works) the duration could be between 1-3 weeks.

I will keep in touch with you during the process. Also max. 2 revisions on the beginning and middle stages of work are included. Of course you can let yourself be surprised if you wish so.

4. Delivery / Pick-up

I’d love to deliver the painting myself should you live in the area around Bonn/Cologne otherwise depending on the destination and size the painting will be shipped with DHL or carrier of my choice. You will also receive the invoice with the artwork. The remaining amount will be due after completion of delivery.

I offer free delivery within European Union for paintings that do not exceed 120x70cm on either side. For larger works individual fees apply according to size and destination.
